Keep your word, YOUR word!

Without pointing too far out there. I keep giving myself "second chances" instead of being disciplined in keeping my word, my word. 

In that moment when I break my word, I sabotage my goals, production schedules get compromised as I fall off my stride. And more time must be invested in weaning myself off and getting back on track. Eventually we move, we clear the fog, regain momentum and then... I catch my mind stealing flashbacks and promising to catch up soon as "what's on my plate clears"

It sounds to me like I'm cheating on myself, I'm having an affair with sugar and ash. For almost two years we broke free and kept away. And the results were optimal given the circumstances and one looked forward to "what's to come"

But the transition back was so easy "hand in glove" never really processing. For almost three months! Then came the dramatic breakup, which ended up fizzling instead of the urgent dismissal agreed upon, but hey we were back on the road to healthy heights. 

Yet today again here we are. Catching this video clip as I make my way into the balcony to engage the ashtray. "keeping my word, my word"???

"History was thus made on 9 January, 1991, when the integration of public schools was initiated through the admission of black students to thirty-three formerly all-white schools. The first steps to integration were begun in the former Transvaal Province, and was soon undertaken throughout the country . "  - saha.org.za It was four weeks before my fourteenth birthday when South Africa had its first democratic elections in 1994. We were three years into the integration program that opened up interracial mixing at schools. Apart from expensive private schools, government schools were segregated up until January 1991.
