MKP vs SABC - THE EMPEROR'S NEW CLOTHES

Image
The Ripple Effect - For history's sake! I watched uMkhonto Wesizwe's case against the SABC with interest and a few thoughts came to mind:   The ruling party purports to be saying their drop from majority power is a matter of national crisis, and it is with this that they qualify to label the seventh administration a government of national unity, even as it clearly is a grand coalition.  ANC leadership's  denial serves as an identity crisis as the seventh administration is, in fact, a grand coalition that identifies as a government of national unity The public broadcaster's mandate is to inform, educate, and entertain the public of South Africa. The SABC News  has a public mandate to  provide credible news and information . However, beyond the public that watches SABC News every day, these bulletins get archived and transcribed into the libraries that people in the future, outside today’s context will read, and reference will be made by journalists writ...

Oh snap puberty blockers are sterilizers!

Image
Again I'm smothered into silence, compelled to listen closely to my thoughts.  I watched Russell Brand's story on Elon Musk talking to Jordan Peterson about his son who took the gender transition treatment. When Elon says he considers his son dead, I wondered if this is his firstborn son, then my memory went to the conditions surrounding the story of Moses at birth: " Because Pharaoh fears that the burgeoning Israelite population will become a threat to his rule, he summons two Hebrew midwives and orders them to kill the newborn boys that they deliver from Hebrew women. "  as well as the plague that befell Egypt allowing for the Exodus." At midnight the LORD killed all the firstborn sons in the land of Egypt—from the firstborn of the king who sat on the throne to the firstborn of the prisoner in jail. "  πŸ€”πŸ€”πŸ€” In response to Elon Musk's video my comments are;  " It's devastating to know that these treatments are sterilizing these kids, what thi...

Wait a minute now!

I'm smothered into silence, compelled to listen closely to my thoughts.  It started when I watched Dr Uma talk about the new campaign of Kamala Harris for president in the US, this had me Google some global references.  video credit: The Art Of Dialogue In response to this Dr Umar video my comments are; If I'm following this logic correctly: So if the US is putting forward Kamala Harris to appease India, did the UK apply the same tactic when they appointed Rishi Sunak as their prime minister...albeit the party has now plummeted from leading to an opposition party? Interestingly; the top two potential replacement candidates after Sunak are women parliamentarians of Indian descent?  πŸ€”πŸ€”πŸ€” I also reasoned: Wait, so was the Obama presidency of 2008 a way to appease Africa following the formation of BRICS in 2006? With South Africa, Kenya, and Nigeria being the African superpowers, and in an attempt to counter China making headway in SA and Kenya motivated the move to fast-...

Hhayi bo kwenzekani?  Kuthe kusenjalo, uphaphame!  I wake up!... What the fuck?πŸ€” When I get up on Messenger, Philani, a guy I have never spoken to writes  "I hope uphethwe umchamo"  to which I reply  "Hhayi ngiyayiqala ke le'opening lineπŸ€”"  I fail to make the connection. Even as the conversation went into screenshot worthy random corners. What is the purpose of this guy talk to me right now?πŸ€” I then received a WhatsApp text from Phoebe, a link to Maneoa's video telling of all she's been through in her five year relationship with her ex. What a load that was, reminded me of the dream earlier. Phoebe says, ...

AFRICAN UNITY DEMONSTRATED

Building up to the month of May, officially Africa Month, we embark on a virtual campaign inviting singing groups to raise their voices and fill our hearts!  A fun campaign that aims represent the cultural and creative industries of Africa united on an enabling project to meet the projected vision of unity demonstrated. This is a production series, showcasing Africa’s new generation raising their voices in solidarity to each other’s struggles. Each year Campaign Africa will selected a relevant theme song to serve as a unifier. Wade in the Waters, The Spirituals [Live] Wade In The Water, as a theme song, selected itself really. Due to our common current situations this historic spiritual hymn, whose message carries hope beyond the African in America, but Africans globally, lends itself to be most appropriate. The best from the entries we receive in the next four weeks, will be challenged to this version of Wade in the Water and encouraged to give it their own flair. Soon we will hav...

CAMPAIGN AFRICA - Maluphakanyiswe uphondo lwayo!

Image
The look of FREEDOM of UNITY of an AFRICA VICTORIOUS a future perceived the prayer for Africa says "Maluphakanyiswe uphondo lwayo!" Thirty-two years on from 11 February 1990; a day filled with visions full of hope!  Also this year marks fifty-nine years since the formation of the Organization of African Unity. We still strive for more vibrant intra-Africa collaborations expressed through consistent demonstrations of unity How to raise the horn of Unity in Africa? Well, let us appreciate the visionaries. The OAU was founded in May 1963 in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, by 32 African states with the main aim of bringing the African nations together and resolve the issues within the continent. Its first ever conference was held on 1 May 1963 in Addis Ababa. At that conference, the late Gambian historian—and one of the leading Gambian nationalists and Pan-Africanists at the time— Alieu Ebrima Cham Joof  delivered a speech in front of the member states, in which he said: "It is barel...
